Adhesive instructions sticker
How do you stick a window sticker on the window?
This is what you need:
- Painter's tape or masking tape
- Pair of scissors
- Tape measure
- Squeegee or sturdy card
The sticker consists of two layers: a carrier, this is the paper on the back, and white slightly transparent application tape.
Read these instructions carefully first. Do you find it difficult to stick a large sticker? Then work in pairs.
Step 1
Before you start, make sure that the window is clean and free of grease. Do not use Glassex or Dasty for this.
Step 2
Rub the sticker smooth using a squeegee or squeegee to ensure that the sticker is properly adhered to the application tape.
Step 3
Hang the sticker in the desired location on the wall with a piece of painter's tape.
Step 4
Preferred Position? Place a piece of masking tape from top to bottom in the center of the sticker.
Step 5
Remove the painter's tape from the top left side. Carefully peel the application tape from the carrier on the left side, you will see that the sticker design sticks to it. Gently pull towards the center of the carrier.
Are letters or images not included? Do not panic! Turn the application tape back against the carrier and rub the sticker with a card and try again.
Step 6
Cut off the loosened carrier, hold the sticker taut and make sure it does not yet touch the surface!
Step 7
Apply the sticker evenly to the window from the inside out. Press the sticker firmly and make sure that no air bubbles remain.
Step 8
Remove the rest of the painter's tape and repeat the top 2 steps on the right side of the sticker.
Rub with a squeegee or squeegee for good adhesion and slowly and carefully pull off the application tape, so that only the sticker remains
Step 9
Have an air bubble formed in the sticker? Then poke a very small hole in the bell with a needle and rub smooth.
And enjoy your new window sticker!
